Revolutionizing Chekku Oil Retail

In the early 2000s, a vision was born to provide the highest quality Chekku oil to the people. To bring this vision to life, a small oil mill was established in Jaihindpuram, Madurai, focused on the manufacturing and retailing of premium sesame oil. This humble beginning quickly gained momentum as the demand for pure, unadulterated oil grew. It wasn’t long before the brand VLV Oil was founded, cementing its place in the market as a trusted source of high-quality Chekku oil.

Fresh and Crush – A Game Changer

The next chapter of innovation began when the next-generation engineering graduates from the founding family came together to launch a brand that would transform the Chekku oil industry(Cold Pressed Oil). With a keen eye on the growing market and a passion for purity, they identified a significant gap in the highly adulterated oil market. Determined to make a difference, they set out with a mission to deliver clean, top-quality oils, sourcing raw materials with the same dedication and care that defined the company’s rich heritage.

In 2017, Fresh and Crush opened its first retail store in OMR, Chennai. The response was overwhelming, prompting the establishment of additional stores in West Mambalam (2020) and R.A. Puram (2021). From there, the journey only grew. The brand expanded to the online market, quickly delivering hundreds of parcels daily across India.

The core mission of Fresh and Crush has always been to provide the highest quality oils at the most affordable prices. To maintain this standard, the brand has chosen not to market through supermarkets or retail stores, ensuring that the purity and quality of the product are never compromised.
